Norwegian author Lars Saabye Christensen has written this moving play about being a creative jazz musician like Chet Baker, or at least about wanting to be one. Ever since 13-year old Daniel heard Chet Baker on the radio, he has had just one aim in life: to play one single note in exactly the right way so that it hits the spot, that moment when one's soul falls into place, those few seconds of joy. Everything else has been renounced. Was it worth it?
